- FINANCE CLUB
MBA/PGDM Finance students actively participate in the club under the mentorship of Prof. N C Srivatsan, C.A, Ex Director-McKinsey, and Prof. Sourish Bandyopadhyay, Ex V.P, American Express Bank. Students are actively engaged in projects related to Financial Modelling, Live Case Studies and Financial Project Management. The club members participate in virtual share trading competition conducted by leading Investment Brokerage Firms and SEBI. Regular workshops and industrial visits are conducted to provide the students with better exposure to real time development in the finance field.
- MARKETING CLUB
MBA/PGDM Marketing students become the member of the Marketing club under the mentorship of Prof. Bala Aryan, HOD of Marketing. Members take part in projects related to Marketing Models, Live Case Studies, Sales Techniques, Promotions, Branding, Marketing Strategies and Project Management under the direct mentorship of visiting industry leaders. They also learn different industrial cultures and environment through marketing oriented workshops and industrial visits. The students are divided into small groups and each such group is assigned the task to choose a product and innovatively create and demonstrate the branding and promotion of the product.
- ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB
Go-getter students with fire in the belly join the Entrepreneurship Club, popularly called the E-Club, to work and learn the nuances of Incubation under the mentorship of the faculty members and leading start-up founders. Prof. Bala Aryan is the president of the club. Creating and nurturing new ideas is the sole motto of the club and the students participate in New Business Idea competition. Founders and CEOs of Several start-up companies are invited to share their experience in the journey and interact with the students providing them effective advice. Entrepreneurship club works in tandem with Entrepreneurship Cell of the College to get all kinds of incubation support to fructify the initiatives of interested students.
HR CLUB
MBA/PGDM HR specialisation students do take active part in the club activities under the mentorship of the Club President, Prof. Sudip Kumar Sen, former SVP, Mizuho Bank, and HOD- Human Resources Department. The club is also supported by the faculty members of HR. In this club, students are engaged into problem solving of diversified HR based case studies and actively take part in group discussions. Students learn various HR models, exchange creative ideas and latest trend of HR techniques. The club members enhance their understanding of business etiquette, improve their communication skills and become effective team players through various business games and innovative programs. Students undergo psychometric tests to understand their personality traits and characteristics, which help them choose the right roles during placement.
SPORTS CLUB
Students enthusiastic in athletics and sports join the Sports Club. RCMB has fully equipped sports facilities for indoor and outdoor sports. The club regularly conducts competition of indoor and outdoor games for our students and organizes inter-college sports meet. Campus is equipped with state of the art Sports Arena where students play Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Handball, Throwball, Badminton etc. Amongst indoor games, Table Tennis, Carrom and Chess are very popular.
IT & DIGITAL MARKETING CLUB
Students have fascination towards IT become the member of this club under the mentorship of Prof. Mihir Das, an extremely tech-savvy leader and alumnus of IIT Bombay & IIT Kharagpur. In this club Students are engaged in developing of different Web Technology and Data Science based models. They run all the social media campaigns for the college and help in growing the college followership across all popular social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. heavily. Students are encouraged to take up Group projects on AI, ML & IOT.
ACADEMIC CLUB
The academically inclined students join the Academic club. The members elect their President and Vice President, who leads the Academic club activities. Some of their activities include organising Corporate Talk series every Saturday, Presentation of Case studies by students, Academic competitions through Debate, Quiz, Extempore speech, etc. at regular intervals. This club also helps in collating students feedback and support in improving the Institution’s Academic Excellence.
FITNESS CLUB
Fitness freak students join this club and take part in regular yoga classes under the guidance of Mr. Nabendu Saha, our yoga teacher. Other fitness club activities include participation in different dance forms e.g., Zumba, Jazzercise, Hip-Hop, etc. under the guidance of Mr. Prithvi Raj Viswanath, our fitness teacher.
LITERARY CLUB
The Literary Club aims to promote Students’ inherent talents in literature through book reading, discussion, debates and publishing. The club publishes monthly e- magazine “RCMB Times” on the 25th of every month. Students are encouraged to participate and develop writing skills in diversified arena.
ART & CULTURAL CLUB
This is the most popular club in RCMB with active student participation in Dancing, Singing, Drama, Fashion Show, Anchoring, Martial Art etc. The club members form the organizing committee to celebrate the important festivals like Deepawali, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Saraswati Puja, etc. with a plethora of exuberance. Celebration of College Day, organized by the club on the 10th of January every year, is a memorable and the most cherished experience of all the students of RCMB. The club also facilitates students’ participation in social cause – visits to old-age homes, orphanages, etc. generate a lot of inner happiness in them.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES CLUB
Students of this club actively participate in exploring the vivid culture, history, nature and wild life of our colourful earth. Right from planning to logistics are being arranged and led by the students themselves under the supervision of the club mentors. The club organises short and weekend trips from the college premises to enjoy the colours, cultures, flavours, landscapes, timelessness and spectacular beauty of the state of Karnataka and it’s adjoining picturesque states, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Students also explore the international destinations like the Sunway Lagoon Water Park and Genting Highlands in Malaysia.
